The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on models and theories of learning development. This course covers basic concepts and principles of learning, factors affecting learning, theories of learning and development.

Social Psychology

Social psychology is the scientific study of intrapersonal processes (thoughts, feelings, etc.), interpersonal processes (social behavior, group behavior, etc.), and the dynamic interaction between these processes. Although it is typically seen as a broad sub-discipline of psychology, its applications transcend traditional boundaries including biology, sociology, anthropology, economics, and political science. The purpose of this course is to help you understand and evaluate social psychological theories, research, and phenomena.

Social Anthropology

Social Anthropology will be examined with its questions, its branches and methodology of research. Other than U.K. the concept is named “cultural anthropology” where culture as a concept, theories of culture, content of culture and cultural research will be mentioned. To link it with anthropology we will be discussing the historical evolution of mankind, relation to natural environment, methods of production and exchange, social groups, kinship, matrimony and ancestors, language and art in the context of social anthropology.
